Miguel JIMENEZ
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Miguel Jiménez began his double bass studies with the renowned "Sistema d'Orquestra de Venezuela." A graduate of the Simón BolÃvar Conservatory of Music in Caracas, he went on to earn a master's degree in performance at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland, under the direction of Maestro Enrico Fagone.
In Venezuela, he performed with the Chacao Symphony Orchestra, the Teresa Carreño Symphony Orchestra and the Simón BolÃvar Symphony Orchestra, with whom he toured extensively throughout Latin America, the United States and Europe.
In Europe, he has performed with the Lugano Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra di Fiati della Svizzera Italiana, the Versilia Symphony Orchestra, United Soloists, and the Human Rights Orchestra. He has also been a guest of the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland. Since 2024, he has been a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège.
As a soloist, he has performed with the Orquesta Sinfónica Ezequiel Zamora in Venezuela and the Orchestra da Camera di Lugano in Switzerland.
