This year, the Festival is organizing a Composition Competition for the Double Bass !
The Competition is open to everyone!
The configurations and timings are free: solo pieces, with piano, duo, quartet, other combinations,with orchestra...
Jury and Announcement of Prizes
The jury will be composed of eminent double bass players: Thierry Barbe (Chair), Zhaoyang Chang, Petru Iuga, Barry Green, Miloslav Jenilek, Stefan Krattenmacher, Tianyang Liu, Marcos Machado, Thomas Martin, Eric Mathot, Mark Morton, Martin Rosso, Stefan Schaefer, Dan Styffe, Xia Yang
The results of the jury's deliberations will be announced during the Ceremony on August 22, starting at 1 p.m.
How much?
Registration is 100 euros for one piece, and 50 euros for each additional piece.
