Born in 1969 in French Flanders, Dan Liefooghe is a multi-talented artist, skilled in both painting and music. From 1990 to 1995, he trained in instrument making under the master Luc Muselet (Lille/Paris), a specialist in double bass and cello; this experience allowed him to master antique varnishes, which he later transposed into his painting practice.
