Author of a method for interpreting the double bass, composer of numerous Chinese works for double bass, and editor of the world's first album of Chinese works for double bass, "The Charm of the Double Bass." As editor-in-chief, he published the Collection of Chinese Works for Orchestral Instruments and the Manual of Orchestral Instruments for Chinese Higher Schools of Art, several of which received national awards from the Chinese government.
